SEACC’s Martial Arts (Lawj Xeeb)
program is part of the after-school program. In order for youth to participate
in this program they must first demonstrate good academic and attendance
records. The program also requires the instructor to assist students with their
homework for an hour before they practice martial arts. The class teaches four
key components to martial arts; form, philosophy, force, and application. Youth
participating in the program will learn self-confidence, self-discipline, youth
leadership skills, and exercise for physical fitness.
